REGULATOR HOSE ASSEMBLY
Only use hose supplied with your Fire Pit. It is designed to work with a LP Gas Cylinder and is a Type-1 connection device with the following features:
The system will not allow gas flow from the cylinder until a positive connection to the cylinder valve has been made. NOTE: The cylinder valve must be turned off (clockwise) before any connection is made or removed.
A flow limiting device, when activated, restricts the flow of gas. To reset, turn the regulator valve to off position.
If you have any issues with your hose or regulator, please contact TemboTusk at Info@TemboTusk.com.
Rules to Live By:
Never leave your TemboTusk Firepit unattended.
Never use the Fire Pit indoors. ((Carbon Monoxide) For OUTDOOR USE ONLY.
Adult use only. Children are not to operate the Fire Pit.
Before attaching the propane canister check to make sure all your valves are in the OFF position and that the hose is in good working condition.
Make sure all fittings are snuggly attached.
Always light the burner on the lowest setting.
Use a long BBQ lighter or Tembo Tusk Arc lighter and light at the first hole on burner closest to the gas inlet.
Wait for your Fire Pit to completely cool before touching it.
This is not a cooking device.
Always check with local law enforcement regarding fire restrictions.
Never use the Fire Pit indoors. Carbon Monoxide is deadly.
Make sure that the Fire Pit is in a properly ventilated area outdoors. Never use the Fire Pit in a camper, tent, or garage. Propane gives off carbon monoxide. Too much carbon monoxide will cause a person’s oxygen level to be depleted and may lead to death. Make sure that the propane cylinder that attaches to the Fire Pit is up to date and in good working order. Tighten all fittings on the tank and Fire Pit burner before use.
Place the Fire Pit on a firm, level and nonflammable surface, away from brush or overhangs. To protect the ground, put the Fire Pit on a fire blanket, grab a flat rock or use an established fire ring. Keep the propane tank upright. If you hear or smell a propane leak, quickly turn off the burner, immediately exit the area and call the fire department for assistance.
The Fire Pit will be hot during use and will take time to cool after use. Use gloves to disassemble.
