It's a very cool device. The flexible design allows us to adjust for changes in wind to keep the smoke away but keep the radiant heat coming back. Worked great on the beach.
Cooked very nice even heat no big flames from big juicy steak . Drips a bit under grill so I put some foil for easy clean up of my table.
We got this grill literal hours before leaving for out last camp out of the season - Thank you Anthony for doing that! My friend and I went halfsies on this grill since we mainly camp together anyway. We had 19 people to cook for and while the cook surface made it take a bit longer to cook food for that many people I absolutely LOVE this grill. It's so compact, easily fit into the back of the car - unlike the bulky "travel" Blackstone. All of the ways to use it are so worth the price. The last morning of camping we had run out of wood so we just set the Grill Game up as a fire pit and it was so nice. Griddle is fantastic (only if you don't overload it with eggs and it drips down lol). We are planning to try the charcoal feature for burgers once we have a free moment. She has the GG now and will test the smoking function - since we love smoked turkey for Thanksgiving. I heated up some apple cider in a kettle with the propane/grill grate and it was hot in such a short amount of time. We are ecstatic for next year's camping season - and for the turkey this Thanksgiving!
The griddle configuration alone makes it worth the price. I have a class B camper van and a travel trailer, both of which have very limited storage space. A decent griddle that's small enough to stow away is hard to find. By decent, I mean a compact griddle that heats evenly, is large enough for at least 4 burger patties at a time and gets hot enough to sear. This one checks all the boxes. The photo shows the heat distribution on medium flame after about 10 minutes preheat. In my experience with other griddles, it's fairly even heating. They all seem to be cooler at the corners and some have much smaller hot zones. Some can't heat much past 400F. With the G3 on high flame the temperature exceeds 500F and the size of the cool corners shrink. So far, I've only used the griddle configuration. I'm unlikely to set up using charcoal or as a smoker. It may be a few months before I try the camp stove, fire pit or gas grill configurations.
I have owned many portable gas grills in the past. Over the last 10 years I have purchased other “portable” smokers and gas grills. Individually they all weigh significantly more and are much larger than my new Grill Game. After I received it I struggled a bit with switching between the smoker and gas grill application. So I called customer service and I attempted to make adjustments. After a bit, it became obvious that I needed a bit different size smoker side plate. Anthony was great to work with in getting this issue resolved. I expect to use this a lot with my RV. The Grill Game G3 is well built and is a perfect light weight portable multi purpose smoker/grill system.

Love this thing so far… my only issue is that when grilling, any juices flowing into the grill seem to seep out of the bottom, making a little mess on the cooking surface. Had to stay on top of it when grilling one burger… Surely there’s an easy solution that may be in progress.

Love the functions and features of this grill. Was looking for something compact, that would act as a bbq, griddle, and a propane fire pit and this fit every bill. Had the inaugural run this weekend and it performed great! Love how small everything packs down and fits perfectly in my truck drawer system. Shipped fast and customer service was great. Zero complaints.
We were on the Cape Lookout national seashore in North Carolina, this island with dispersed camping, right as a heavy storm was about to roll in, with at least 25 to 30 mile an hour wind gusts, we wanted to have a fire before bed. This was by far the hardest fire to start and maintain and as it so happened also the first time that we were using these incredible panels. Without them starting this fire would have been impossible, not to mention the fact that the fire burned for a solid 3 to 4 hours without any disturbance from the weather. Cannot recommend this enough in terms of both reflection of heat and survivability, these pack away so fantastically well and are tucked up into our rooftop tent when transiting from campsite to campsite. Well worth it and very well designed, one of the best investments we have made on the rig
I have had it for about a week. I finally got someplace cool enough to give it a go. First off as you can see from the picture I am using the reflector with a fire can. The reflector does a wonderful job of blocking the wind which with a fire can is absolutely crucial. Without the reflector on a windy evening you may as well just get in your bag. Unless the flame is cranked well past midrange and you are standing in very close proximity to the can you just don’t get much benefit except when the flames are lapping at your trousers! So I am exceptionally happy to find out what a wonderful wind break I have in my new reflector! I can now sit comfortably in my chair with an adult beverage of choice and be toasty warm. As for the reflection aspect, the night I used it there was a stiff breeze. That, combined with the fact that the top of my fire can or rather the base of my flames is 8 inches off the ground means I am only effectively using two thirds of the reflective surface. It was definitely throwing some btu’s my direction but I think if it were around a ground height fire it would be noticeably better. With that said I am extremely happy with the performance of my reflector. The unit packs away quickly and the storage bag is very well made. Thank you MC Ranch for a wonderful product!
The Original Fire Reflector by MC Ranch Overland is the icing on the cake after a long day of driving and setting up camp! It’s also a confidence booster knowing that your campfire is shielded from the elements! This fire reflector made our experience a high end classy memory equivalent to sitting at home around the fireplace! It was one of the first pieces of gear I set up! Absolutely one of our best instruments!!!
It was rainy and windy at the So-Cal Expo and this reflector came in clutch. We could enjoy being outside and warm without worrying that the wind would blow down the flames.
This is a well made, solid piece of gear. A lot is added to a campfire using it. I use it with my Lavabox and my SoloStove. It is a pretty substantial investment and as expected and necessary, quite heavy. Being able to use it at home helps justify the cost. Safe travels and God Bless.

I love my MC Ranch Fire Reflector! Its a game changer, particulary when paired with a fire-can that doesn't put out the BTU's like a wood fire. Its fantastic for not just heat reflection but light! The case it came with is top notch and its flat enough to put in the back of the Gladiator and other things can pile on top so it doesn't take up as much space as you would think. I'll be giving this to my kids and them to my grandkids. It is industrial!!!!

Our burn ban just got lifted here so I haven’t been able to put it to the test! But this thing is built to last. Super heavy duty and very well put together . I’ll give a better review when I take her out camping… Stay tuned
I have seen many around but the Original Fire Reflector by far is the best one out there. Amazing heat and light reflection and also protection. I stand behind it when cooking to avoid my knees from getting heated or burned. I use it for wood fires, propane bowls and wind protection when cooking.
Solid looking product,,, unfortunately received just before the fire ban. Looking forward to the fall to using it when the fire ban lifts.

Warmth, warmth around the fire. This fire reflector allows all of us to sit around our fire pit at night and be toasty warm. Now we see the stars without being too cold to enjoy them. Wonderful product. Extremely well built. Worth every penny!

I haven't used the Harvester yet but I anticipate it being a staple in my camping gear. It's well constructed and thought out. I took away a star due to it being on the heavy side. Although I knew that before I bought it looking at the specs. Still a winner, well done.
I bought this as a gift for my husband for Father’s Day and he loves it! We went to a bonfire with family later that day and he got to work cutting up wood to go in the fire with this saw. It worked really well and he’s happy with this gift.
A great length to carry in a truck. If you want a great one to pack for light backpack get the 18"
The Carbontrail 12 feels like a quality product and I can’t wait to take it for a spin. My one concern is the storage bag. It is made from a coated ripstop synthetic material which in my experience is not very durable and I don’t see it lasting long term. The Cordura bottom should be fine but the rest is rather disappointing.
